The burrito project long beach 2.0 would like to welcome to a new
year, happy 2014!!
We had our meet up last Sunday (1/5/14).
We were a bit short on help and resources but we managed. We met our quota of
75 burritos and then some. So overall it was a success despite the
shortfalls.
Even though it’s a new year, we are still
the same burrito project. Our mission is to help the needy because we want to;
we have no religious affiliation. We
make 75 burritos and deliver them to a shelter; Project Achieve.
At this time I would like to personally
thank all donors and volunteers that were involved this time around: Lori,
Elva, Mary, Laura, Karen, Miguel, Sergio, Jackie and La Colonial Mexican
Products. Thank you from the bottom of
my heart!!
Our burritos are made with freshly prepared ingredients: potatoes, pinto beans, rice, and salsa; simple, vegetarian, hearty, and yummy!!
